Learn about permaculture throughout the seasons, with a focus on cold climates

This Permaculture Design Course covers the standard PDC curriculum commonly taught all over the world, but will include extra information tailored to the colder climate of the northern plains, as well as practical, hands-on components to spur active learning about permaculture processes and design.

The course will take place over 8 weekends, meeting one full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) starting in July 2011, and one weekend or weekend day after that during the rest of the course. Optional meetings will take place on Sundays during the growing season to give participants an opportunity to visit relevant local sites, do some hands-on work, and practice their design skills (see PDF for schedule).

If you are a working person and can't devote two full weeks to a traditional Permaculture Design Course, then this option is perfect for you!
